Combat focuses on up to 32 players piloting Warhawks (the game's Harrier-jet-like aircraft) in large-scale acrobatic dogfights using the motion-sensing features of the SIXAXIS controller. However, at any time, players can park their aircraft and continue the fight on foot (using firearms, grenades, knives and surface-to-air missile launchers) or in a ground-based vehicle (jeeps, tanks and a variety of turrets). Supported game modes at release include classic deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture-the-flag, and a zone-based territory capture mode. Updates are planned through 2008 which include new game modes, maps, vehicle and weapon updates.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe game was meant to include a single-player scenario, but this was eventually scrapped in favour of the multiplayer part. Offline, there is a four way split-screen mode. The game can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store, but there is also a more expensive retail version that includes extra content such as behind-the-scenes developer interviews, and a Jabra BT125
