The single-player mode takes place in a world history museum. The evil villain, Lord Crowley-Mesmer, wants to take over the world and the player tries to stop him. Single-player gameplay not only revolves about killing enemy worms, but also about rescuing friendly ones and puzzling a way through the level using ninja ropes, jumping and placing metal bars.\u003c\/p\u003e\n \u003cp\u003eMultiplayer gameplay is much like any other Worms game. Both players get a set of Worms. These worms are randomly placed in a map. The goal is to kill the enemy worms before the enemy can do the same. Multiplayer can be played local and through internet.
