Proteus is a game about exploration and immersion in a dream-like island world where the soundtrack to your play is created by your surroundings. The primary means of interaction is simply your presence in the world and how you observe it.
Each unique, procedurally generated island is home to shy creatures, tranquil valleys and enchanted ruins.

Proteus is a meditative game based around exploration.
It is played from a first-person perspective and the environment is drawn in a minimalist style. The player starts in the water near an island that is largely randomly generated with each game session. There is no direct goal, instead the player can freely explore and choose a custom path. There are creatures that can be chased around or observed, sights to be discovered and more. Interaction is only provided through movement, but certain animals or elements can be interacted with by getting close.
The game has a day-and-night cycle and the weather also changes often. Through a certain mechanic, a cycle can be initiated to go through the seasons. This changes the entire environment and also introduces new events and animals. Sound and music also play an important role in the experience. The ambient sounds are altered by visiting certain locations, witnessing events or interacting with animals, changing the soundscape every time.

Alternatively, you can use your own shipping method to return the items. Any items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
