Sewer Shark is a single-player full-motion-video rail shooter. The game is set in a future where environmental ruin has forced most people to live beneath the surface in a network of tunnels and sewers. Solar City, a protected paradise above ground, is reserved for the few who can earn a place there. The player takes the role of a rookie Sewer Jockey assigned to exterminate dangerous creatures in the tunnels, with the promise of a one-way ticket to Solar City for successful service.
The player pilots the Hole Hawg, a customized Sewer Shark extermination craft, with Ghost acting as co-pilot and Catfish providing reconnaissance and navigation. The sewers are filled with Ratigators, bats, scorpions, mechanical hazards, and other threats. The objective is to survive the route through the tubes, destroy enough targets to satisfy the player’s superiors, follow the correct path, and eventually reach Solar City.
Gameplay is shown from a first-person cockpit view using full-motion-video tunnel footage. The piloted craft follows a forward path through the sewers, while the player moves a targeting crosshair over enemies and hazards and fires the onboard gun. Since the vehicle continues moving, the player must shoot quickly, conserve energy, and keep the path ahead clear rather than stop and explore.
Navigation occurs at fixed tube junctions. Catfish calls out directions using clock positions, such as twelve o’clock, three o’clock, six o’clock, and niner, and the player must steer into the correct tube when the junction appears. Missing a turn or choosing the wrong direction can send the craft into a dead end or crash. As a result, success depends on listening to navigation calls as well as shooting accurately.
The Hole Hawg craft has limited energy, which is reduced by enemy attacks, collisions, and weapon use. If the energy gauge runs out, the run ends. Hydrogen buildup is another hazard: when the hydrogen indicator reaches a dangerous level, the player must fire a flare to clear the gas ahead. These systems require the player to manage shooting, navigation, and hazard response at the same time.
Progression is linear and performance-based. The player advances through the sewer route by surviving each section, destroying enough enemies, and avoiding crashes or unacceptable performance. Characters appear in live-action video sequences between and during gameplay, with Ghost, Catfish, Commissioner Stenchler, and other figures commenting on the player’s success or failure. These scenes provide the game’s story context, but they do not create dialogue choices or branching conversations.
The original Sega CD version was one of the system’s early full-motion-video showcase games, and a later 3DO version preserves the same basic premise and rail-shooter structure with platform-specific differences in video, audio, controls, and presentation.

We have a 30-day replacement policy for all Pre-Owned Items, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to have any malfunctioning part replaced with another of the same item or store credit to use on another purchase.
To be eligible for a return of a Brand New Item, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us by calling the store at (518) 823-4471. If your return is accepted, we can either send you a return shipping label through Shopify to your email address used for the purchase, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package, we will deduct the cost of the return shipping label from your final return value. Alternatively, you can use your own shipping method to return the items. Any items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method, or to store credit as stated previously. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to you as well.
