Team Reptile brings you Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, a future world from the mind of Dion Koster where self-styled graffiti crews equipped with personal boostpacks are battling each other for control of the streets. Start your own cypher and dance, paint graffiti, collect beats, combo your tricks and face off with the cops to stake your claim to the sprawling metropolis of New Amsterdam.

Red is a graffiti writer who lost his head and instead uses a cyberhead to get around. In search of his roots he joins the Bomb Rush Crew, Tryce and Bel. Together they decide to go All City, to become the best graffiti crew in the city. The more territory they gain, the more they discover who it was that cut off Red's head and how deep his human side is linked to the graffiti world.
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a third-person action game which takes place in the distant future, in a city called New Amsterdam. The story follows Red, who, after being beheaded by the mysterious DJ Cyber and being saved by Tryce, decides to join the Bomb Rush Crew, a gang of writers which consists of the brutal Tryce and the cheerful Bel, to conquer the city and retrieve his head, as well as his memories, from DJ Cyber. Along the way, more writers are recruited into the BRC.
The player must traverse through New Amsterdam and take control of five districts, which can be achieved by placing graffiti over the that of the rivals'. In doing so, the player earns reputation, which is used to challenge rival gangs and take control of their respective districts. The player can travel on a skateboard, BMX bike or rollerskates, on top of having a jet pack for faster traversal. After drawing a certain number of graffiti, the player becomes "wanted" by the law and police are deployed to stop them. As the meter increases, so does the police's forces, with helicopter gunships being deployed at the maximum level.
The game features a similar setting and cel-shaded artstyle as Jet Set Radio. The game contains a variety of upbeat electro and hip-hop music, including a few contributions from Hideki Naganuma of Jet Set Radio and Sonic Rush fame.
