■友達、仲間、恋人、そして家族との絆 物語のテーマはクライムサスペンスだけでなく、深い人間ドラマにも焦点を置いています。ある時は友達、ある時は仲間、そしてある時は恋人や家族としての深い絆を描きます。各キャラクターごとのエピソードは事件を解決する前編と、人間関係を深めていく後編に分かれ、ボリューム満点の内容で楽しめます。更に、キャラクター達の様々な側面が垣間見えるエクストラエピソードも満載です。

■主題歌「NOVALIS」（ノヴァーリス） 主題歌は、ゲームの舞台であるニューシーグで大人気のアンカーマン、アダム・クルイローフ（CV 石川界人）が担当しています。アダムが作中で歌手デビューすることが決まった曲「NOVALIS」が本作の主題歌となっています。

The city of New Sieg, eastern seaboard of the US, present day. Linbo Fitzgerald works as a lawyer, advocating in court for even the toughest of criminals. However, one day, a convict comes to his office to warn the lawyer of his impending death, in explicit detail. Not only that, but the criminal also reveals that it is not his real self; rather, he was taken over by a girl that can rewind time to a specific moment. Initially, Fitzgerald is lambasted by the convict's words, but decides to believe him (or rather, her), thus managing to escape his own death. He realizes that something is definitely strange with this girl. Thus, the journey of time heists begins in New Sieg.

Bustafellows is a visual novel game, set in the fictional town based off New York City. The player controls the protagonist (default name Teuta, though the name can be changed), talking to characters and doing plot-specific actions that can result in the story progressing further. Players carry a note that can help them try to solve crucial puzzles. While the style of the characters is anime, the game features very detailed background artwork reminiscent of the Big Apple.
