Engage in ruthless real world action as two hardened CIA paramilitary operatives.

Conflict: Denied Ops sees two covert operatives from the CIA's Special Activities Division (SAD) on a mission to prevent a Third World dictatorship from gaining nuclear weapons. Travelling across the vast landscapes of South America, Africa and Siberia, it's the job of Agents Graves and Lang to stop ambitious, powerful and dangerous men who control the nuclear arms smuggling trade.

With the ability to play as either agent, this war-torn title offers co-operative gameplay with blistering Hollywood style action and set pieces. Players can equip themselves with a number of weapons, including a sniper rifle, grenades and a light machine gun, as well as command vehicles such as hovercrafts and tanks.

  • Take cover as your surroundings are blown to pieces in massively destructible environments using Puncture TechTM
  • Hot-swap seamlessly between your two-man squad or join a friend online or offline, in the split-screen co-op campaign.
  • Battle in multiplayer deathmatches for up to 16 players in three different scenarios

Lincoln Graves is a 47-year old ex-Special Forces sniper and Reggie Lang is a former FBI-heavy weapons specialist. Graves doesn't really like Lang but they are now both agents of the CIA's Special Activities Division and their mission is to prevent a third-world dictatorship from gaining nuclear weapons.

This mission takes the team across three continents and through hordes of bad guys. To deal with them, both Lang and Graves have access to several types of weapons from pistols over snipers to machine guns, rocket launchers and several different kinds of grenades. But they also earn upgrades for these weapons after successfully finishing a mission. The first upgrade to Graves's 7.62m Sniper Rifle for example allows the player to fire a bullet around the corner or over low cover.

Since Lang and Graves are a team, the player is free to switch between both at any time and give orders to the currently AI-controlled comrade, including simple tasks like "Follow Me" or "Cover Me", but they can also complete an objective by themselves or bring the player's character back into the game when he took one bullet too much.

The health system is similar to the one in Clive Barker's Jericho, which means that there aren't any health packs available, the characters instead healing themselves automatically once they stop taking damage. When a character takes too much damage at once, he'll go down and need to wait for his teammate needs to revive him. The game only ends when both Lang and Graves are down at the same time.

The game also includes different kinds of vehicles the player can drive to run over bad guys or blow them to hell.

The main campaign can be played cooperatively over LAN and Internet, with one player taking over Lang while the other plays as Graves. There are several other multiplayer modes available for up to 16 players, like Deathmatch or Conquest, in which two teams compete over the control of five flags on the map.
