An ancient seal has been broken, and the tranquil village of Jinuma has come under attack from an army of merciless demons. Determined to remove this evil pestilence from his Kingdom, the Shogun sends his bravest Champion into the underworld to put an end to the bloodshed.
Armed with a fearsome blade and a mystical Jewel of Power, you must guide your hero through the endless dungeons beneath the village. Use the items you find on your quest to vanquish the demon hordes before they slaughter the terrified villagers.
This is a never-ending journey into the pits of the Demon World. Get ready to face your worst nightmare... * A wealth of magical items to find. Mysterious artefacts give you awesome powers.
Dozens of weapons, from swords to spears, some using hidden magic.
50 amazing levels to conquer in the story mode.
A host of demonic enemies to defeat, each with unique attacks and spells.
Defeat the Demon Lord to reveal an eternity of randomly generated dungeons.
Eternal Quest takes the player to the land of swords, sorcery and maze-like underground lairs, in which they must defeat monsters, collect better equipment, acquire gold (to buy better equipment). Descend lower in the game's 50 leveled dungeon in the story mode which is about a shogun who summons a champion (you) to save his shogunate from an evil presence once and for all.
The gameplay is very similar to Nethack, and other "roguelike" games. The game is turn based, and as you take a step, so does every monster in the level. When you're standing still, so does everything else in the game. Also, like in some "roguelike" games, levels in this one are randomly generated.
