Linger in Shadows is an unusual PSN release. It is a commercial demo meant to showcase the work of the Polish demoscene group Plastic. Originally released as a movie, it was adapted to an interactive project for a PS3 release. It has a run-time of seven minutes and can be watched (watch) or played (linger) from the main menu. It is a story about evil, but largely told in an abstract way. As with many demoscene projects, it mostly serves to showcase artwork and rendering techniques accompanied by a full soundtrack.
The movie stops at certain moments and then the player has to perform a certain actions to progress, such as pressing a button, distorting the visuals with SIXAXIS controller movement, manipulating a user-controlled camera to look around or to take a photo, or scratching back and forth in the timeline using L2 and R2. When successful, the next sequence is shown. Some parts of the environment can be manipulated to rotate objects or move light sources. Hidden in the game are nine greetings to other demogroups, unlocked by taking a picture of a certain symbol in the environment. Once found, these light up in a Trivial Pursuit-like circle and are often rewarded with trophies. Unlocking a next sequence (sigil) offers trophies as well, but trophies are only provided after quitting the game.

To be eligible for a return of a Brand New Item, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we can either send you a return shipping label to your email address used for the purchase, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package, we will deduct the cost of the return shipping label from your final return value. Alternatively, you can use your own shipping method to return the items. Any items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
