Arcade Mode

To use a traditional NES Zapper:

• You must be using original NES hardware
• You must play on a CRT television

This setup ensures full Light Gun functionality as designed. Note that a zapper is not Mandatory to play Mavericks Baghdad Extraction. All zapper stages will work with the NES controller.

The ROM runs on EverDrive flashcarts and supports the Light Gun when used on a real NES and CRT. The save system has not been fully tested across all EverDrive models, so we recommend using save states when possible. On the physical cartridge, saving has been extensively tested and works 100%.

This game uses a Mapper 30 PCB, which may not be compatible with all clone consoles. Compatibility can vary depending on the system. However, the game has been fully tested and runs perfectly on FPGA-based systems like the Analogue Nt Mini and RetroUSB AVS.
