Well now, an uninvited guest! We don't get many visitors knocking at our door way out here. I'm very sorry to hear about your car. Everything is going to be all right now. Why don't you just come in and stay awhile? What's that? You say you just want to use the phone, find your brother, and then leave? Well, if you can find a phone, you can certainly use it and as to leaving, well I suppose anything is possible...
Enter the world of Uninvited, and you may never leave. Like Shadowgate and Deja Vu, this is a world where challenge and adventure await you around every corner. And it's easy to play. There's no guessing what the computer wants: you just explore the story that unfolds before you. All the critics agree: Uninvited is like no other interactive adventure you've ever experienced.
"Uninvited offers you all the challenge, grisly death, and fiendish spectral visitation that any Gothic horror show needs." -A+ Magazine
"It has all the glitter of graphic adventures, with all the depth of the classic text adventures. One of the best interactive graphic adventures available..." -Amiga World
"The game is wonderfully designed, the graphics are beautiful, the speed is good, the challenge is demanding, the logic is believable, sounds are realistic and the easy-to-use interface is ideal." -Commodore Magazine
Another game using the graphical adventure interface found in Déjà Vu and Shadowgate, Uninvited comes with a "horror" theme.
While driving on a lonely road at night, a strange figure blocks your vision causing you to swerve and crash your car. When you regain consciousness, you find that your brother is missing (in the NES-Version it's your sister who is missing). The only place he could have gone is a creepy old mansion which looms in front of you. With nowhere else to go, you enter the mansion in search of your brother. It turns out the mansion once belonged to an old wizard and his apprentice, and somehow it has become infested with the Undead.
