Doch für Michael reichte es nicht, um herauszufinden wer er ist und was um ihn herum geschehen war. Die Große Welle, die “Aufgelöstenâ€â€¦ alles nur stumpfe Worte in seinem verdorrten Geist. Hilf Michael, sich einer zerfallenen Realität zu stellen.

Eine furchtbare Pandemie verwandelt die gesamte Menschheit in “Aufgelöste“. Die Infizierten Erlangen im Fieberwahn übernatürliche geistige Fähigkeiten, steuern aber auch auf einen unausweichlichen, grauenvollen Tod zu.
Der Ursprung der mysteriösen Krankheit scheint in der Großen Welle zu liegen, einer unerklärlichen Kette von Naturkatastrophen. Alle Energiequellen und Kommunikationsmittel wurden zerstört, und die Welt ins Chaos gestürzt, das nun von Militärs und Machthabern rücksichtslos ausgenutzt wird.
Es liegt also am Spieler, Michael zu helfen, jenem Mann ohne Vergangenheit, seine Identität wiederzuerlangen und die Ereignisse zu entschlüsseln, die die Welt an den Abgrund geführt haben. Wenn Michael sich nicht beeilt, wird er den drohenden Moment der „Dead Synchronicity“ nicht aufhalten können – den Moment, in dem die Zeit sich selbst auflöst.
„Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow comes Today†ist ein 2D Point-and-Klick Adventure mit einer dystopischen Story. Das Gameplay orientiert sich hierbei an Adventure-Klassikern (The Secret of Monkey Island, Broken Sword, Day of the Tentacle...), greift dabei aber düstere Themen auf, ähnlich wie zum Beispiel „I have no mouth and I must scream†oder „Sanitariumâ€.

In Dead Synchronicity, you play as Michael, a man with no past, who must recover his identity and decode the two events that brought the world to the edge of collapse. It is the so-called Great Wave, an inexplicable chain of natural disasters, and a pandemic that turned humans into the Dissolved, infected beings whose sick bodies will eventually dissolve into blood. However, before they die their gruesome death, the Dissolved gain special cognitive powers. If Michael does not hurry, he will not be able to avoid the impending moment of 'dead synchronicity', when Time itself starts to dissolve.
It is a homage to darker, classic adventure titles, such as I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream and Sanitarium. Dead Synchronicity has a dystopian sci-fi scenario and uses a hand drawn 2D art style with classic point-and-click adventure gameplay elements.
The game has an abrupt and open ending since it was only the first part of a planned episodic release, with follow-ups never released due to financial failure of the first.

Damages and issues
