God Eater 2: Rage Burst is a single-player and multiplayer action role-playing game. The story is set in a near-future world devastated by monstrous beings known as Aragami. Humanity’s survival depends on God Eaters, special warriors capable of wielding the God Arc, a living weapon that can take the form of both blade and gun. The player assumes the role of a new recruit in the Blood Unit, an elite branch of the Fenrir Organization, tasked with protecting the remnants of civilization and uncovering the origins of a new, deadly epidemic spreading across the land.
Combat takes place in real-time across mission-based stages. Players select a loadout before deployment, including melee weapons, ranged gun forms, and shields. Each God Arc can be customized, and during battle it can shift between modes, allowing fluid transitions from melee combos to ranged gunfire. The Devour mechanic, a unique ability of God Arcs, lets players consume Aragami mid-battle to temporarily gain enhancements called Burst Mode, which boosts attack power and unlocks special abilities.
Progression is tied to acquiring materials from defeated Aragami and crafting improved gear. Weapons and shields can be enhanced along branching upgrade paths, each offering unique traits. Bullets used in the ranged gun form are highly customizable, with players able to craft their own ammunition patterns and elemental properties. Experience is earned through missions, and characters gradually gain access to new Blood Arts, which augment specific attacks with added effects.
Party management is a key element. Up to three AI-controlled companions or human players in online multiplayer can join the player on missions, each with their own combat style and skills. Coordinating with allies is important for distracting powerful Aragami, healing, or dealing concentrated damage. Multiplayer supports cooperative play, letting teams take on large-scale battles together.
The game’s campaign includes both the storyline of God Eater 2 and the expanded Rage Burst chapter, which adds new missions, characters, and enemy types.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
