Ryū ga Gotoku: Ishin! is a deviation from the canon series, much like Ryū ga Gotoku: Kenzan!, only instead of 17th century feudal Japan like Kenzan! it is set in late 19th century Japan, at the end of Edo period, both games however are set in Kyoto instead of modern day Tokyo like the main canon Ryū ga Gotoku (aka Yakuza) series. The game revolves around some key incidents during that period and known historical figures and factions such as Sakamoto Ryouma or Shinsengumi.

The open world of Kyoto and Tosa is a sandbox that offers many mini-games and activities aside from the main story objectives. During adventure mode, player can go on by his daily living and do things such as gardening, cultivating vegetables, fishing, cooking, and talking to his neighbors. One can also participate in karaoke singing, kabuki theatrical shows, chicken races or visit red district for both body pleasures or get too much fun out of foreplay mini-games and get drunk. The game also offers a connection to PS Vita via free Ryū ga Gotoku: Ishin! for PlayStation Vita application.

The battle system doesn't rely on fists, baseball bats, and anything you can find of use in the environment, but instead focuses on sword martial arts and your pistol. The training activities, arena fights and weapon making skill let you become more skilled fighter wielding more powerful weapons against your opponents. While this spin-off is not literally related to modern day Ryū ga Gotoku (aka Yakuza) series, some of the recurring characters also appear in this game in their appearance, such as leading Kazuma Kiryu, devil Majima, or inspector Date, with obvious new identities to fit the new period and story.

If your return is accepted, we can either send you a return shipping label to your email address used for the purchase, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package, we will deduct the cost of the return shipping label from your final return value. Alternatively, you can use your own shipping method to return the items. Any items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
